Meet Pluto, a three-year-old male Bodeguero Terrier with Terrier SOS in Spain
Three-year-old Bodeguero Terrier Pluto had a narrow escape from almost certain death at the hands of a violent owner. Fortunately, he was removed from his ‘home’ in the nick of time and is currently being looked after by Terrier SOS in Spain. All he needs now is a ticket to ride to a new home, possibly in the UK. Could you be that ticket?
Terrier SOS says of Pluto:
Say hello to the latest addition to the Terrier SOS family, Pluto. He is a gorgeous Bodeguero – a Spanish version of a Parsons or Jack Russell. They were originally bred to get rid of ‘vermin’ in wine cellars; he is invisible. There are so many abandoned in rescues in Spain, so they sit in kennels waiting.
Thanks to our amazing supporters, we have added him to the list of dogs soon to be travelling. He is about three years old, and dog and people friendly. He came into rescue as a kind person removed him from his original ‘home’. The owner killed his mother and his fate was soon to be the same.
Interested in fostering or adopting Pluto? Please get in touch by completing the relevant forms on our site [link below].
Pluto will be neutered, passported and fully vaccinated.
Pluto can be found among Terrier SOS’s dog’s awaiting travel to the UK.
Terrier SOS was set up to highlight the plight of terriers in Europe and, through a network of volunteers, find them a safe place, whether in rescue or foster homes. While Terrier SOS helps dogs in other countries, Spain is the main focus of its work, many of the dogs being rescued having been abandoned by British expats returning to the UK. In some cases, the dogs are brought back to the UK.
Go on, give Pluto a loving home. If you’re not in a position to do that, please share this post with others. There are also other ways to help Terrier SOS, such as by donating or volunteering as a foster carer.
