Abandoned as a puppy, two-year-old terrier lurcher cross Cassidy was fortunate to find her way from a humane shelter in Romania into the caring hands of the volunteers at Terrier SOS. She is said to be a loving and playful little thing, who needs patience and love to get her used to living in a home. Do you have Cassidy’s forever home?

Terrier SOS says of Cassidy:

Cassidy is a very sweet girl, spayed, fully vaccinated, medium size (15kg), and, until recently, living in a humane shelter in Romania. She is about two. She is playful and loving to people, curious about new things. Cassidy gets on well with everyone and loves to run and play with other dogs.

She was abandoned as a very small puppy at our gate. She got through a rough winter and grew up into a beautiful young lady. She is still a bit shy and will need to learn how to live as a pet in your home, which she hasn’t experienced. Lots of patience and love needed. [link below].

Terrier SOS was set up to highlight the plight of terriers in Europe and, through a network of volunteers, find them a safe place, whether in rescue or foster homes. While Terrier SOS helps dogs in other countries, Spain is the main focus of its work, many of the dogs being rescued having been abandoned by British expats returning to the UK. In some cases, the dogs are brought back to the UK.

Go on, give Cassidy a loving home. If you’re not in a position to do that, please share this post with others. There are also other ways to help Terrier SOS, such as by donating or volunteering as a foster carer.
